Remin Ozbay, Wild, Analise Dlugasch, and Camila Gonzalez
The passion for horses of students Remin Ozbay, Camila Gonzalez, and Analise Dlugasch, from Florida International University was all it took to start an IHSA team at the university. The club started summer 2010 when these three girls united to desperately look for horse lovers at FIU that comprised an interest in equestrian competition. Through Facebook and word of mouth the club is rapidly gaining members from students that have never even been close to a horse to more advanced and competitive riders. The team practices weekly at the International Equestrian Center of Southwest Ranches where the riders are currently working hard and getting ready to attend intercollegiate competitions from here in South Florida all the way to Savannah, Georgia with head coach Daniela Roy, and assistant trainer Romy Tschudi.
