A: The club meets as often as needed. Mostly 2-3 times per season in addition to fundraisers.
Q: What is the difference between the team and the club?
A: The participants of the club are non-showing members with an interest in horses that can still ride, or simply help out and meet new people with a similar passion for horsemanship. The team members are ISHA competitors varying in skill and experience. All club members and team members must attend mandatory meetings and participate in different club activities while team members have practice twice a week.
Q: Who are the trainers? Can I use my own?
A: Our Hunt Seat trainers are Daniela Roy, Romy Tschudi, and Stacey Lima of International Equestrian Center in Southwest Ranches. You may use your own trainer for your own practice, but to be eligible for competition you must ride at least once at our facility with our trainers the week of the show.
Q: Do I need my own horse?
A: No, horse ownership is not required. For lessons we will be using the designated team's horses at the barn while at shows we use the host barn's horses.

A: Club members need paddock boots and riding pants. Team members should bring every day riding attire in addition to owning his/her own proper show attire.
Q: Are there try-outs?
A: Yes, there are try-outs. Interviews and try-outs will be held shortly after the first meeting of the Fall semester. We do accept various levels of experience but will be looking for both men and women who fit with our team the best. Keep checking for updates on upcoming events and informative meetings to start the year.
Q: What activities does the club do?
A: The club (apart from the competition team) may still ride, help host club events, travel to shows and rodeos, participate in club/team nights, and partake in barn events such as trail rides.
